Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services in an elementary school setting located in Worland, WY. This full contract runs from August 25 through May 26 and offers 3640 hours per week, serving a diverse caseload of 40 to 60 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.

The ideal candidate will have versatile experience across multiple occupational therapy settings including home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based environments. Flexibility to deliver services either virtually or in person is essential. When working onsite, candidates with Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) are also encouraged to apply. The position will also consider collaboration with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as part of the team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct prehensive evaluations and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions for students K-12.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student development and access to the curriculum.
  • Document progress and maintain pliance with school district and state regulations.
  • Adapt therapy approaches to teletherapy platforms or in-person settings as appropriate.

Desired Experience & Qualifications :

  • Licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Demonstrated success in school-based occupational therapy roles.
  • Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual delivery of services.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 40-60 students while maintaining quality outes.
  • Openness to collaborative teamwork, including roles for COTAs and SLPAs.
