We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Imaging Assist to provide intermediate to advanced technical support in a fast-paced clinical environment. In this vital role, you’ll work closely with technologists, patients, and staff to ensure seamless imaging services.
Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect when working with us :
Assisting technologists during imaging exams to enhance efficiency and patient comfortEducating patients on exam preparation and ensuring a smooth, supportive experienceCoordinating patient flow within the imaging department and managing inpatient transportHandling critical administrative tasks such as correspondence, paperwork processing, and report generationUtilizing imaging PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) for efficient data managementDesirable Skills :
Demonstrates strong expertise in patient safety, exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering exceptional support and customer service in a fast-paced imaging environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.\n\nQualifications : \n
Education
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate requiredExperience
1 year of experience in a healthcare environment required or Successful completion / current enrollment in a nursing or allied health program requiredExperience working in Medical Imaging preferredLicenses and Certifications
