job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Outpatient only Call Ratio : Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites Daily Patient Census : 18 patients per day Equipment / Resources : Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources Primary Responsibilities : Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition Monitors lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicities Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patient Refers patients to medical specialists when necessary Collaborate and manage APPs Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Active CA License Proven experience in a primary care setting CA DEA ACLS Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
