About The Position

Job Title : RN - Labor & Delivery / Postpartum

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)

License : RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP

Must-Have :

• Experience with postpartum vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Newborn / couplet care experience
• Skills in fundal massage
• Knowledge of newborn care including heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring, and lactation support
• Ability to work in an LDRP setting

Description :

We are seeking a qualified RN with experience in Labor and Delivery / Postpartum.

Responsibilities include providing care for postpartum patients and newborns, including management of vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with an average census of 5.

Patient ratios will be 1 : 3-4 couplets.

You will be supported by a team that includes a CNA, charge nurse, and other clinical staff.

You will utilize technology and equipment such as EPIC EMR, IV Pumps, and Fetal Monitors.

The role will require floating within the region as needed based on staffing needs.

All nurses must possess the required certifications and skills to deliver effective and compassionate care.
