Welder

Location : Neenah & Appleton

Duties :

• Operate machine tools associated with fabricating shops, such as drill presses, weld positioners, and other required machinery.
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld steel frameworks and parts to meet project specifications.
• Perform MIG and aluminum welding with precision and accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Measure, layout, and verify workpieces for conformance to specifications using tools such as squares, rulers, tape measures, and calipers.
• Maintain a high level of quality control and ensure finished products meet required standards.
• Perform basic math operations for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and industry standards.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Fabrication Welder or similar role in a fabrication shop.
• Proficiency in MIG welding and aluminum welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Strong measurement and layout skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with tools such as squares, rulers, tape measures, and calipers.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
