General Characteristics
- Same as PM but handles large and complex projects and / or multiple projects at one time.

- Supervision received by Client Manager or Program Manager.
Typical Duties & Responsibilities
In a supervisor capacity, plans, develops, coordinates and directs a number of large and important projects or a project of major scope and importance, or a number of small projects with many complex features.Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates assigned engineering work, as well as monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards.Responsible for developing and preparing project proposals and LOEs.Responsible working with accounting department for project billing, preparing and sending invoices.Responsible for collections including identifying client billing concerns and escalating them to supervisor / manager.Responsible for creating and communicating all project forecast, schedules, costs estimates, and financial reports with key project stakeholders.Responsible for assigning project tasks to Team members that align with key milestones identified in the project schedule.Coordinates with external stakeholders and subcontractors to ensure project schedules are met.Responsible for ensuring QA / QC processes are implemented on all projects under PM purview.Maintains accurate project records, including meeting notes, reports and correspondence.Conflict resolution with project stakeholders and reports potential client conflicts to the client managerResponsibility for the Direction of Others
(Supervisor Responsibilities)
Directs several subordinates, some of whom are in positions comparable to Project Manager and Assistant Project Managers.Supervises, coordinates and reviews the work of a production staff of professionals and / or technicians.Education
Bachelor’s Degree
Registration Status
Registered Professional Engineer

Expected to be a Member of Professional Society and a Member of Technical Society
