LHH has partnered with a leading consulting firm on this highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant temporary position. This role offers a very flexible hybrid work environment in NYC that is ideal for professionals who value autonomy and work-life balance. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance team through month-end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities :
Execute month-end close processes.
Prepare and post journal entries in SAP.
Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
Perform hands-on accounting transactions such as cash applications and invoicing.
Support audit and compliance activities as needed.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of SAP (preferred) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
Proven experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a predominantly remote environment.
Pay Details : $32.00 to $38.00 per hour
