Position Overview : The Seamstress is responsible for providing high-quality alterations, repairs, and garment maintenance services for hotel uniforms, guest clothing (as needed), and soft furnishings. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced, luxury hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments on staff uniforms and guest garments with precision and efficiency.
• Maintain and repair hotel linens, drapes, upholstery, and soft goods as needed.
• Conduct fittings for staff uniforms and assist in measuring and tailoring new garments.
• Ensure all sewing and alteration work meets the hotel’s luxury standards.
• Handle guest requests for pressing, minor garment repairs, or alterations with utmost confidentiality and care.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area, including sewing machines and tools.
• Keep detailed records of all completed work, inventory of fabrics, threads, and supplies.
• Coordinate with the housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure timely return of garments.
• Support uniform distribution, labeling, and tracking processes.
