Description :

Job Purpose : Move automotive vehicles between auctions and the PTP yard using a Tow truck. The responsibility includes ensuring that each vehicle is properly loaded and secured onto a specialized truck. Local distances and must adhere to traffic and safety regulations while still making their deliveries on time.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Drives and operates Tow trucks.
• Follow instructions; locate and read the location and road maps.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and deliver reports to the operations team.
• Picked up automotive vehicles, verified loads for accuracy, and delivered them as instructed.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; complying with all safe work practices and policies.
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
• Secure the vehicles with tie-down straps.

Essential Responsibilities :

Effective Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with team members, dispatchers, and clients.

Reporting : Ability to report any issues or concerns regarding vehicle condition, loads, or traffic conditions promptly.

Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other drivers and staff to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.

Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and auction personnel, ensuring a professional representation of the company.

Requirements :

CDL - A.

At least 23 years of age.

2 years of experience OTR.

No Majors (defined DUI, handheld device, 20+ mph over, racing, fleeing / alluding officer, reckless, careless, negligent, leaving a scene, driving while suspended license).

No minor moving violation in the past 3 years.

Fluency in operating electronic devices and GPS software.

Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively.

Must pass background screen and drug tests.
