Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our growing team inBrooksville, Florida.

Job Summary : As a

Direct Support Professional (DSP),

you will provide hands-on care and assistance to individuals in their daily lives. Your role will include helping them develop independent living skills, ensuring community inclusion, and supporting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct care services tailored to the individuals needs.
  • Assist with

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.

  • Support individuals in

    • meal preparation

    and ensure dietary needs are met.

  • Promote

    • independent living skills

    such as budgeting, grocery shopping, and household chores.

  • Encourage and facilitate

    • community inclusion, social skills, and recreational activities.

  • Implement

    • individualized goals and support plans

    in a person-centered environment.

  • Ensure the

    • health and safety

    of all individuals under your care.

  • Identify, document, and report any

    • incidents, allegations of abuse, or concerns

    as required.

  • Administer

    • medications accurately

    (upon successful completion of an approved AMAP course).

  • Communicate effectively with

    • staff, management, and families

    to ensure coordinated care.

    Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of experience

    • in caregiving, healthcare, or disability support

    preferred

    (college credits may be substituted for experience).

  • Must be reliable, patient, and compassionate.
  • Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to pass background checks and required certifications.
