Electronic Engineer - Test & Repair

Location : Horsham Employment Type : Permanent | Workshop-Based

Salary : £28,000-£35,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Electronic Engineer looking for a hands-on role in testing & repair? Roc Search are currently working with an existing client who are urgently seeking their next permanent hire to join their team!

Responsibilities

Integrate, test, and provide full support for electronic products.
Diagnose and resolve faults at system, board, and component level.
Design, implement, and improve test systems and processes.
Recommend design changes to enhance performance or address obsolescence.
Build and adapt test equipment and fixtures as required.
Document processes in line with quality standards and ESD requirements.

Skills / Qualifications

Strong practical electronics skills and ability to read circuit diagrams.

Experience using test equipment : oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, PSUs, and bespoke tools (training provided).

PCB testing, repair, and fault finding experience.

Confident with soldering and basic prototyping.

Familiarity with calibration and traceability standards.

Comfortable with light metal work (marking, drilling).

Detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn.
