Warehouse Associate

Job Summary :

As part of a team unload, inventory and put away inbound product on a daily basis while following the material handling and inventory control guidelines. Pull and stage freight for the following days deliveries. Keep warehouse claims down while operating the warehouse safely and efficiently.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Daily contact with van operators, operations personnel, local service providers and Customer service personnel. Frequent contact with customers and vendor’s representatives.

Warehouse associates primarily work at one branch location, assisting with inventorying, loading / unloading and moving product within the warehouse. Warehouse associates may be asked to assist with deliveries, depending on the day’s volume of work. In addition, warehouse associates commit to exceptional quality by safeguarding customers’ product and making sure it is kept, transported and received in the same condition that we received it.

Warehouse associates will receive top-notch training, focusing on exceptional customer service delivery and the mechanics of ensuring a safe, effective and efficient warehouse operation.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Offload, palletize / vault and scan inbound cabinets (Biz Mobl)
• Conduct audits on all inbound trailers (Load feedback, Compass)
• Place cabinets on the warehouse floor, in designated locations.
• Receives work orders from operations; pull orders to appropriate warehouse door the evening prior to delivery.
• Conduct loading audits on delivery crews (Loading Audit, Compass)
• Assists loading crew with locating any missing items. (parts / cabinets)
• Assists delivery crews with returns; Places them in the designated spot for returns, makes sure a copy of the POD is placed on the cabinet(s)
• Maintains neat, accurate paperwork.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50-100 lbs up and up to 400 lbs. in a team carry.
• Required to lift and carry furniture four to eight hours daily.
• Keeps assigned warehouse safe and clean.
• Keeps facility and grounds clean.
• Runs sweeper in and around assigned area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands :

Work is performed in a typical, comfortable interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements; individual has discretion in relation to walking, standing etc., and has minimal exposure to physical risks.

Compensation details : 16-16 Hourly Wage
