Leadership Position At Brewster Place

Provide leadership for Brewster Place towards fulfillment of its mission, vision, and goals. Responsible for the management and leadership of Brewster Health Center, Assisted Living, and Community Nursing. Directs operations in compliance with government regulations and Brewster Place guiding principles, policies, and procedures to ensure that the highest level of care and services are provided.

Key responsibilities / duties include :

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of licensed areas including staffing management, budget compliance, continuous quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and standards of operational efficiency.
  • Creates and maintains a caring and nurturing atmosphere focused on person-centered care.
  • Coordinates the grievance process, including abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Works with families and residents to ensure their rights are being upheld.
  • Serves as a member of the Brewster Place management team and participates in the planning process including the long-range plan, the annual business plan and the annual budget as directed by the executive management team.
  • Represents Brewster Place and participates in committee meetings with governing board committees, residents' families, civic groups, vendors and providers, governmental agencies and the general public.
  • Maintains professional competence and certification and keeps abreast of changes and trends in retirement living and long-term care fields through attendance and participation in continuing education programs and industry conferences. Shares knowledge to assist with development of staff and board members.

Qualifications

Requirements :

  • Education : Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience : 5-7 years
  • Certification : Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
  • Any preferred education / skills / certifications :

  • Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related area
