job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain authorized flow of personnel and vehicles within the distribution location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or suspicious activity, to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs as required by site procedures. Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure and orderly environment at the logistics and distribution location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Security Officer - Logistics Entry Patrol
As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Patrol in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
