We are seeking a skilled Sr. Product Specialist to join a team focused on converting market requirements into business process and system requirements to enable their business to deliver the next big telecom technologies.

About the Role :

  • 6-month contract (expected to be a long-term contract w / extensions).
  • Hybrid schedule (4 days / week onsite in Denver Tech Center).
  • Full-time hours, not a part-time contract.
  • Flexible hourly rates based on experience brought to the table.
  • What We're Looking For :

  • 5-10+ years of professional experience as a Product Developer, Sales Engineer, Systems Analyst, or Solutions Architect in the telecom space.
  • Ideally a Sales Engineer or Product Manager that is very business and sales savvy.
  • Someone that can create a product experience by developing process flows for the client's existing groups.
  • Understanding or experience in one or more of the following technology fields : OSI layer 2 and layer 3, security services, managed services, wireless service, SD-WAN technology, SDN and virtual network function technology based virtual services.
  • Someone that has experience moving a product through proper channels (business cases, writing requirements, how to handle customer support, etc) in order to sell to customers.
  • High attention-to-detail, logical, and able to stay on track.
  • History of developing detailed business requirements or features and user stories.
  • Understanding of complex and technical concepts with the ability to translate them into simplified product attributes.
  • Strong prioritization, planning and organizational skills with the ability to lead large, cross-functional teams while making decisions and resolving issues under pressure.
  • Proven ability to develop, communicate and implement strategies and tactics while managing and delivering against several initiatives simultaneously.
  • Equipped to align systems, programs and people with the company strategy and culture while fostering teamwork and building a culture of collaboration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and project management software.
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.

  • Review product specifications and requirements to make informed recommendations on the nature and scope of product lines.
