Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Previous forklift experience is also preferred, along with experience in a manufacturing setting. Any prior experience in a laboratory environment supporting quality control or product testing is considered a bonus. Candidates should have strong communication skills, demonstrate positive leadership, and hold themselves and others accountable.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklift equipment to load and unload a variety of packaged items.
Receive raw materials for production and testing purposes.
Weigh materials using industrial scales.
Support the quality control team by gathering product samples and recording observations.
Store finished products in designated warehouse areas.
Stage items in preparation for shipment based on carrier arrival schedules.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Warehouse Manager and quality control team.
Work in areas with moderate dust and noise, and varying temperatures, including near automated manufacturing equipment.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support day to day operations as part of a small and collaborative team.
