This is a full-time in-office position requiring 37-40 hours per week, with occasional overtime needed to meet court deadlines or trial preparations. Initial compensation will be based on experience, with opportunities for performance-based increases.

Compensation : $23 - $27 hourly

Responsibilities :

Ensure completion of 30 hours of billable work weekly, including daily time entry

Draft and electronically file court documents with minimal grammatical and formatting errors

Manage scheduling and calendaring of hearings, mediations, and depositions

Collaborate with clients to collect financial documents and prepare for production

Demonstrate the capability to oversee cases from inception to resolution

Proficient in handling mandatory disclosures and meeting discovery deadlines

Organize financial records for trial presentation

Calculate child support guidelines accurately

Provide assistance to the assigned attorney as necessary

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of experience working in a law firm setting, handling primarily family law cases as a Paralegal or a position with similar responsibilities

Excellent spelling and grammar

Knows how to calculate court deadlines

Excellent time management skills and ability to follow detailed instructions

Ability to speak to clients with compassion and understanding

Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required
