Role Description
The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) will be an integral member of the executive team, responsible for driving and accelerating the company’s growth through strategic sales leadership and business development innovation. You will focus on cultivating a high-performing sales organization, building and nurturing strategic alliances, and enhancing the company’s customer acquisition strategies. The CGO works closely with the CEO and other executives to align with long-term growth objectives, foster a results-driven culture, and develop scalable organizational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Process Oversight : Develop, implement, and optimize a scalable sales strategy, overseeing the entire sales funnel from lead generation and prospecting to deal closing.
- Partner Presentation : Create sales materials and lead presentations for prospective partner brands.
- Pipeline & Market Analytics : Build and refine the sales pipeline by defining and targeting high-value, high-probability opportunities.
- Strategic Alliances : Identify, develop, and manage partnerships to create strong referral channels.
- Metrics & Reporting : Establish and track key performance indicators to foster accountability and excellence.
- Industry Engagement & Trade Shows : Serve as the company’s ambassador at industry events, organizing and leading trade show participation at least once per month.
Leadership & Strategy :
Continuously evolve the company's go-to-market strategy to stay ahead of industry trends.Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires while refining the department’s structure and processes.Ensure data-driven decision-making across all sales functions, utilizing analytics to refine targeting, improve conversion rates, and maximize ROI.Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience negotiating high-value contracts, often with the CEO or Board of Directors, for large-scale deals.Track record of building processes, systems, and teams at a company with $500M–$1B in annual sales.Based in (or willing to relocate to) South Florida; must be in the office five days a week.Excellent relationship-building skills, fostering trust and collaboration across all levels.Extensive experience leading in a complex organization, including a sales staff of 20 or more.Strategic vision with experience driving growth toward $2B in sales.Highly technical sales experience.Bachelor’s degree.Preferred Qualifications
