Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology - $115 per hour

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Neonatology for a locum tenens job in Onondaga County, New York.

Medicus has partnered with a facility in central New York that has an opportunity for a skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum weekend coverage.

Opportunity Details :

Schedule : 12 or 24-hour weekend shifts

Level III NICU, 16 beds

Daily Volume : 8-9 patients, 0-2 admissions

Required Procedures : Vent management, ETT, BiPAP, CPAP, chest tube insertion, central and arterial line insertion, UAC / UVC placement, lumbar punctures, etc.

Will attend c-sections

Will assist in the Level I well-baby nursery

Support Staff : Neonatologists, APPs

Required Supervision : NICU RNs and ancillary staff as needed

EMR : Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
