Role
COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO COORDINATOR (Studio Coordinator)
As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you support the world class CorePower Yoga studio experience, including coordinating studio operations and upholding high health and safety standards. In alignment with our Core Values, you work with the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth toward company and studio goals. This is a part-time, entry-level position designed to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio.
Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
- Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga Core Values and inspire these values in others
- Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment
- Commit to a flexible schedule of 18-29 hours per week in studio to support operations coordination and teaching (if certified), include health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support
- Must be flexible with schedule availability within the hourly commitment to serve the studio and team
- Serve as the studio-level point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present
- Support maintaining appropriate studio supply inventory (cleanliness supplies, towels, programming materials, etc.)
- Engage with the studio community, greet students by name, and foster community at the front desk
- Support teachers with learning the POS and other pre / post class duties
Health, Safety and Cleanliness
Uphold high standards for cleanliness and functionality of the studio, providing a safe environment, appropriate heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clutter-free spacesCommunicate health protocols to students upon entry and during their visitAct as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) by cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and following cleanliness protocol while on dutyCoordinate SET scheduling, handle no-call / no-shows, and train team membersLead Orientation for new SET members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectationsCoordinate studio operations with the Studio Manager and teaching / SET teams (POS, Online Reservations, Subbing Application, HRIS, Help Desk)Teaching Schedule
Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 classes per week of branded CorePower Yoga classes and sub additional classes as neededSkills & Experience
Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core ValueExcellent oral communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skillsExperience in Customer ServiceCompletion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferredYoga Sculpt teacher training is preferredFamiliar with studio systems (HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling, payroll)Ability to build relationships with diverse personalities and levels of seniorityThrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize under deadlinesSelf-starter with ability to take on new projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)College degree (BA / BS) preferredThe Fine Print
