The Quality Engineer I is responsible for verification that product has gone through the inspection process products ensuring the product meets all quality standards and products that leave the facility to go to our customers of the finest quality and with zero defects.

Job Summary

The Quality Engineer I is responsible for verification that product has gone through the inspection process products ensuring the product meets all quality standards and products that leave the facility to go to our customers of the finest quality and with zero defects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with departmental standard operating procedures and AS9100 procedures
• Develop and implement Quality processes and procedures using Lean Manufacturing processes and procedures
• Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation
• Track root cause of problems and perform corrective actions - Maintain and control the CARs / NCRs for completion
• Review quality trends with customers and suppliers
• Perform internal and external audits
• Review Manufacturing planning, engineering change requests and purchase orders to ensure quality requirements are met
• Own Quality Surveys and develop quality checklists
• Maintain and control the QCBD findings for completion that are delinquent and not in conformance
• Publish metrics for the Quality Assurance department and the Quality Assurance System
