Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Northport, AL for a Municipal Engineer. The Municipal Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to infrastructure assessment and design, including water supply, water treatment, water distribution, sewer collection, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management. Responsibilities also include project management from conception to completion, such as system evaluation, alternative design comparisons, financial analysis, funding research, design, permitting, construction administration and observation, start-up, close out, and warranty coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in Municipal Engineering, Water Supply, and Water Treatment
• Proficiency in Stormwater Management and Wastewater Treatment
• Strong Project Management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred but not required
• Experience in the public sector is a plus
