Clinic, Call, or Both :

  • Outpatient visits
  • Surgery call
  • Inpatient rounding

    • Schedule :

  • June 13 : Orientation
  • June 16, 17 : Proctoring
  • June 18 - on-going
  • APPs take first call (ICU, Hospital floors, outpatients and ED)
  • Immediate need and ongoing until perm is on board
  • Inpt 70% / Outpt 30%
    • Cases / Procedures :
  • CABGs
  • Bread and butter cases

    • Clinical support :

  • Full CVOR support
  • Anesthesia - 2 CV anesthesiologists on staff
  • APPs take first call and vein harvesting

    • EMR and Dictation Tools :

  • EPIC / Dragon

    • Required experience, training, and certifications :

  • ACLS

    • Case Logs Required :

  • 50 Open Heart procedures within the last 12 months

    • Consider IMLC or waiting for a license :

  • Must have an active MI license and MI DEA or IMLC
