Travel Nurse Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1570–$1680 Assignment Length : 13 weeks (travel contract) Start Date : November 24, 2025 Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend (12 weekend shifts per contract) Setting : Cardiac ICU (CICU), adult and geriatric patient population Unit Size : 4 beds (expanding to 16 beds) Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Charting System : Epic EMR Scrub Color : Royal Blue Parking : Free parking pass for downtown lots and garages ICU RN Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience (Cardiac ICU or critical care preferred) Active South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact RN license (pending license with proof of application accepted) Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Experience with Epic charting system preferred Experience with CRRT (Prismax) preferred Ability to float to MICU or other critical care units as needed Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) First-time travel nurses welcome! ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill cardiac patients in the CICU Manage patient ratios of 1 : 1–2 to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Perform advanced ICU nursing skills : arterial line management, ventilator management, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, and care for patients on CRRT, ECMO, and Impella devices Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias; manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV therapy, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Float to similar critical care units as needed to support patient care across the hospital Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season if required Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career with this exceptional ICU RN job in Columbia, South Carolina!
