Maintenance Supervisor (HVAC Certified)

Location : Galveston, Texas

A well-established multifamily property management company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations of a residential community. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and vendors.

Perform and oversee routine and emergency maintenance, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.

Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely and professional manner.

Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs.

Maintain compliance with safety regulations and property standards.

Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to maintenance team members.

Assist with budget planning, inventory, and cost control for maintenance operations.

Qualifications :

EPA / HVAC Certification required.

Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in multifamily or commercial property management.

Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.

Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Ability to work on-call rotations and respond to emergency maintenance needs.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
