Overview
Microsoft Advertising is looking for a Director of Social Media to define the vision, strategy and guide the execution for Microsoft Advertising’s social presence across platforms including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube. Additionally, you will help to incubate an approach to B2B Creator engagement. This is a unique opportunity to shape how Microsoft Advertising shows up in social channels and creator ecosystems, reaching advertisers, marketers and publishers alike.
As the Director of Social Media, you will be responsible for defining the channel and creator strategy to accelerate brand perception, increase customer engagement and improve performance-based campaigns. With a data-driven and social intelligence-informed agenda you will set a roadmap for growth and optimize content for platform-native behaviors. In partnership with our Creative Studio, you will continually innovate, measure and refine social content in alignment with channel strategies. This role requires the ability to set a bold strategic vision, translate that into channel and content execution plans, work cross-functionally in a fast-paced matrixed environment, and measure and communicate progress. It will require synthesizing complex data, product, and business priorities into social and creator strategics that future-proof our success.

Brand IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
