As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrols in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and support access control measures as needed. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, which may include both indoor and outdoor areas within a tech, media, or telecom environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address questions or concerns.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, patrols, and daily activities.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience or 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
