Deliver professional nursing care to patients within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This role involves collaborating closely with physicians to provide comprehensive care, mentoring new staff and students, and performing nursing duties within the scope defined by licensing boards.
Key Responsibilities :
Education : Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licenses and Certifications : Current Registered Nurse licensure in a compact state required. BLS / CPR certification required within 30 days of hire or by orientation end. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIHSS, or AWHONN may be required depending on department policy.
Experience : Previous experience in a similar clinical environment is preferred.
Skills and Abilities : Strong nursing principles application, effective communication, computer literacy, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
Physical Requirements : Ability to perform heavy work occasionally exerting up to 100 lbs and frequently up to 20 lbs. Standing or walking for 51-75% of the workday may be required.
