Travel Nursing Job Details Estimated Weekly Pay : $2100–$2250 per week Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : 10 / 19 / 2025 End Date : 1 / 18 / 2026 Healthcare Setting : Operating Room, Level 1 Trauma Center Nursing Shift : 8-hour day shifts (06 : 30-15 : 00), Monday through Friday Hours per Week : 40 On-call Requirement : Up to 6 call shifts per 13-week contract Weekend Rotation : None Floating : Will float to all ORs as needed Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience, including Level 1 trauma experience Strong scrub nurse experience required Experience with at least one of the following : DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, or ex lap cases Background in Ortho, General, Trauma, GYN, Urology, or Plastics preferred Active Kansas or Compact RN License (Registered Nurse License) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Nicotine-free facility OR RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced, Level 1 trauma operating room Scrub and circulate for a wide range of complex surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to various operating rooms as needed to support patient care Participate in on-call rotation as required Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career with this exciting Kansas City operating room RN job!
