Job Title : Fleet Mechanic
Location : Battle Creek, MI
Pay : $32 - $44 / hr
Shift : 2nd Shift
Job Summary : The Fleet Mechanic inspects, diagnoses, and repairs company vehicles and equipment. This role ensures the fleet operates safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, accurate repairs, and clear communication with managers and team members.
Responsibilities :
- Inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Order and manage parts inventory.
- Keep accurate records of work performed.
- Report repairs and costs to the fleet manager.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and field repairs when needed.
