Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Willingboro, NJ 08046 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit : Medical Surgical (Med / Surg)

Shifts : 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week

Duration : 13-week contract

Weekend Requirement : Every 3rd weekend

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Jersey RN license preferred)

BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)

ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)

Minimum of 2 years of recent bedside clinical experience in Med / Surg nursing

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care by following individualized nursing care plans

Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission

Identify patient teaching needs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly

Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning from day one

Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity of care

Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel

Contribute positively to team building and a supportive work environment
