TREASURY ANALYST

Remote (Nashville, TN Area)

POSITION SUMMARY :

This position supports all aspects of Treasury Operations. It includes providing customer service to both internal and external groups and working with all banking partners. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Treasury.

Work Schedule : Remote (Candidates must live in the Nashville area)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide customer service for Treasury from both internal and external groups
  • Work with various banks to obtain regularly requested information
  • Process wire and ACH payments for the organization
  • Review bank exception items daily and report unusual or fraudulent items
  • Monitor electronic payment file processing
  • Support streamlining Treasury processes and procedures across the organization
  • Monitor and grow current card program
  • Provide customer service on card program management from both internal and external groups
  • Contact cardholders as needed to help resolve issues
  • Conduct ongoing audit of card activity
  • Administer bank system maintenance and setup
  • Support Issue Tracking system
  • Communicate by phone and e-mail on Treasury processes
  • Assist in various Treasury projects and analysis
  • Organize and prioritize information and calls
  • Create documents using Microsoft Office applications
  • Special projects as needed
  • Regular and reliable attendance required

QUALIFICATIONS :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and / or abilities required.

Education / Experience :

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. No experience required. Treasury or banking experience a plus.

Mathematical Skills :

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages.
  • Language Skills :

  • Ability to understand, read, write and speak English. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to successfully write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors and the general public.
  • Reasoning Ability :

  • Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and correct errors. Ability to understand and interpret basic financial data. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
  • Other Qualifications :

  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and the Internet. Ability to coordinate communication between departments. Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner. Must be able to work well with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be detail oriented and organized. High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information. Must be able to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency. Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as approved in advance.
