What Does a Marketing Executive Do?

This position coordinates, markets, and negotiates new and renewal business insurance policies for small business and core Commercial Lines business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

New / Renewal Marketing

• Manage the New / Renewal Process through collaboration with Producer / Account Executive / Client Manager as well as carrier representatives / underwriters.
• Responsible for marketing submissions to carriers, including application preparation, loss analysis, and other pertinent information for submissions.
• Submit to carriers and follow-up to ensure timely receipt of quotes and policies.
• Analyze and compare carrier quotes for proper coverages, terms, pricing, and conditions, which includes making insurance program recommendations.
• Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance.
• Help identify the need for new products and develop innovative solutions for clients.
• Confidently assessing the needs of clients, uncovering coverage gaps, and develop solutions to risk situations.
• Bind coverage for policies as directed by the Producer / Account Executive / Client Manager.
• Coordinate and finalize subjectivities.
• Build and maintain relationships with underwriters and our carrier partners.
