Inventory Management :
- Maintain an accurate and detailed inventory of all lab parts, supplies, and equipment
- Receive, inspect, and properly store all incoming parts and equipment, verifying shipments against purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Organize and maintain a clean and orderly parts room and storage areas.
Coordination for Outsourced Testing :
Prepare, package, and document all parts and equipment required for outsourced testing, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly labeled.Coordinate with external labs and vendors to schedule shipments and testing, ensuring timely delivery and return of materials.Track the status of all outsourced items and communicate updates to the relevant internal teams.Maintain detailed records of all items sent for external testing, including dates, vendor information, and test results.Logistics and Delivery :
Arrange for the delivery of parts, supplies, and equipment to various internal and external locations as needed.Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to personally transport and deliver parts, supplies, and equipment to various local sites as required.Prepare all necessary shipping documentation and ensure compliance with any shipping regulations, especially for hazardous materials.Track shipments and provide delivery updates to stakeholders.General Duties :
Serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to lab parts and equipment.Generate reports on inventory status, usage trends.Assist in the development and implementation of procedures to improve efficiency and workflow.Good interpersonal, computer, oral and written skills.
General clerical skills and familiarity with standard office procedures, equipment, including computers and office systems / applications.
Moderate level of proficiency in SharePoint sites, including document storage, controlled access and document versioning.
High levels of organization relentless attention to detail.
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
Experience in engines / powertrain dynamometer testing or other similar testing techniques is recommended.
