Purpose and Scope :
The Engineering Manager will oversee and lead the Research and development team, including the Electromechanical Design and Product System Engineers at Phiston Technologies. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful development, integration, and implementation of innovative technology and data security products. The Engineering Manager will guide the engineering team, ensure adherence to design standards, and maintain high levels of productivity and innovation.

Lead and manage the engineering team, including Electro-Mechanical Design Engineers and Product System Engineers, to meet project goals and timelines.
Oversee the creation of 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical and electrical parts and assemblies, ensuring adherence to Phiston Technologies design standards.
Guide the team in conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis of designs.
Ensure the maintenance of revision levels for all drawings and the creation of Bills of Materials (BOM) and component specifications.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate mechatronics, software, and mechanical components into seamless systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues to minimize downtime and enhance system performance.
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations, particularly in safety and high-power systems.
Provide technical support and training to team members as required. PTI

Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in business is preferred.

At least 7 years of experience in engineering management or a related role.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Extensive experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software and techniques.
Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Proven experience as an engineering manager.
Knowledge of production management, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Proficient in MS Office software.
