About the Role :
We’re looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and support critical IRS projects. You’ll manage and maintain Oracle databases end-to-end — making sure they’re secure, stable, and performing at their best. This role is fully remote and offers the chance to work on impactful, mission-critical systems in a collaborative team.
What You’ll Do :
Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases.
Handle database creation, migration, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
Implement and manage strong security protocols (encryption, authentication, compliance).
Monitor and tune performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Automate routine tasks with shell scripting and tools like Crontab.
Support applications, troubleshoot database issues, and participate in on-call rotations.
Work closely with Oracle support and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
What We’re Looking For :
7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong skills in PL / SQL, performance tuning, security, data modeling, and automation.
Basic understanding of Linux, storage, and networking.
Experience with ICCE and eServices is a plus.

Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
