Leidos' Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing Facility is seeking a SMT Programmer to join our team to create unique solutions for complex problems. This position will be part of engineering team located in Huntsville AL.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with MFG and process engineering to ensure all criteria is met in regards to SMT program development.
• Support the implementation of engineering change orders (ECO) and deviations into New and Existing programs.
• Understand and support review of Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly drawings and assembly instructions
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities in support of developing machine programs and outputs from Factory logix(Aegis)
• Verify completeness of customer supplied PCBA (printed circuit board assembly) documentation files.
• Generate Pick and Place program from customer supplied CAD files from PLM.
• Performs programming of various types of equipment such as automated placement ASM SX machine, ASM screen printers, Koh Young SPI and AOI used in product assembly.
• Supports process improvement efforts through development of tooling, training, and documentation.

Pay Range :

Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
