Pay Information

$32 to $44 per hour

About The Position

1. General job duties.  Types of procedures required.

General nursing care of acute care patients of varying ages.

2. Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc. Computer charting utilizing Healthland Centriq. Medication Dispensing Cabinet : Omnicell. Vital Sign / Cardiac Monitor System : Draeger.

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.

Good multitasking skills and excellent patient communication and care. Open to new graduates!

4. Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

ACLS / PALS / TNCC preferred or within 6 months of hire.

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required?  If so, how often? Are weekends required?)

12 hours shift. 3 shifts per week. Weekends per schedule needs, no call.

6. Floating to other units / departments. (If so, to which units / departments?)

Small critical access hospital, so could be called upon to assist in the ER, but there would always be another RN available for questions.

7. Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept.

17 bed critical access hospital, staff covers acute care floor and attached ER.

8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)

9. Dress Code :

Scrubs, any color or pattern allowed. Closed toed shoes.
