PreOp / PACU Registered Nurse (RN) at Vanguard Surgical Center

The Registered Nurse has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care..

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing

Active RN license in the state

BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center

2 years of experience in PreOp / PACU or Critical Care preferred

Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit

Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Pay Range : $46.59 - $55.28 / hr(Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
