A client of Insight Global is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and certified Lead Teacher to join our 3–4-year-old classroom. This inclusive setting supports children with a range of abilities, including those with autism and behavioral needs. The classroom maintains a 1 : 6 teacher-to-child ratio, not to exceed 18 children, and is supported by two assistant teachers and a team of therapists.
- Prepare and maintain a welcoming, developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
- Plan and coordinate daily activities that support inclusive learning and development.
- Lead a team of two assistant teachers to ensure smooth classroom operations.
- Foster a compassionate, inclusive environment for children of all abilities.
- Collaborate with therapists to integrate support services into daily routines.
- Support children with special needs, including autism and behavioral challenges, through structured routines and individualized strategies.
- Facilitate potty training and self-help skill development.
- Engage actively with children on the floor, promoting play-based learning.
- Collect developmental data and maintain child portfolios (no IEP paperwork required).
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and needs.
- Participate in planning periods and professional development (online and case-by-case).
- Work closely with the Program Director and other classroom teams (10 classrooms total, serving 132 children). Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Birth–Kindergarten, Early Childhood, Elementary, or Special Education (required).
- Current teaching license / certification in Birth–Kindergarten, Elementary, or Special Education (required).
- 2–3 years of experience in early childhood education, preferably in inclusive or SPED settings.
