Mid-Continent Steel & Wire, Inc. , one of the largest manufacturers of fasteners for wood construction in the U.S., is looking for a driven, road-warrior sales professional to lead industrial sales within our Manufacturing Channel .

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell directly to industrial manufacturing clients
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Maintain a professional image representing a trusted brand

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B / M2M sales experience, with a solid track record
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and mobile sales technology
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (30+ weeks per year)
  • Valid U.S. drivers license and passport with no restrictions
  • Fluent in English
  • No air travel restrictions
  • Highly Desirable Qualifications

  • Resides in the Eastern half of the U.S . , near a major airport hub .
  • Experience selling to industrial wood manufacturing customers.
  • Basic knowledge of the steel and wire industry.
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Sales, Marketing, or Business.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and SAP systems.
  • Strong prospecting skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
