About The Position

Join a well-supported Emergency Department at a trusted community hospital in scenic Park Rapids, Minnesota ! 🏥 Position Details :

Location : Park Rapids, MN

Setting : Inpatient Emergency Department

Start Date : October 6, 2025

Shifts : 12-hour shifts (Day and Night options)

Monthly Schedule : 8–10 shifts / month

Weekend Coverage : Yes, included

EMR : Meditech

Annual ER Volume : ~10,000 visits

Support Staff : 2 RNs + 1 CNA per shift

Procedures : Standard ED care – No specific procedures required

Average Admissions : 1–2 per day (Hospitalist on duty)

Reason for Coverage : Retirement and internal transition

Job Requirements

Board Certification :

Emergency Medicine – Preferred

Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with Emergency Department experience – Accepted

Licensure :

Active MN License – Preferred

IMLC accepted with LOQ in hand

Certifications : ATLS – Preferred

CALS with trauma experience – Accepted

Malpractice History : Clean – Preferred

Availability : Must be included at time of name clear

Credentialing Timeframe : 90–120 days

Hourly Rate : $270–$280 / hr

Holiday Rate : 1.5x hourly rate

Orientation Rate : $135–$140 / hr (after 8 hours)

Malpractice : Must be included in hourly rate
