Reports To : Director of Wellness Operations / Director of Racquets
Compensation : $16–$19 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule : Full-Time – 6 : 00 am – 2 : 00 pm
Position Overview
Governors Club is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented professional to join our elite service team as a Wellness & Racquets Operations Coordinator . This role combines facility maintenance, member service, and operational support across our Wellness Center, Tennis, and Pickleball facilities. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of maintaining high presentation standards while providing exceptional hospitality to members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Member Experience & Front Desk
- Serve as the first point of contact for members and guests at the Wellness Center.
- Provide outstanding customer service, anticipating and responding to member needs.
- Manage class and pool reservations through ForeTees; assist with rosters and billing.
- Support towel service, coffee and water station upkeep, and general hospitality tasks.
- Maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized environment across all member areas.
Facility & Operations Support
Perform daily inspections and cleaning of the Wellness Center, locker rooms, studios, and racquet courts to meet facility standards.Ensure equipment is functioning properly.Communicate repair or maintenance needs to the Wellness, Housekeeping, or Maintenance Directors.Support setup for classes, programs, and events as directed.Court & Grounds Maintenance
Groom and maintain six clay tennis courts daily.Leaf blow hard courts, pickleball courts, and surrounding areas.Empty trash bins and refill water coolers on courts.Maintain facility grounds for cleanliness and safety.Operate maintenance golf cart as needed for supply transport and facility rounds.Administrative & Program Support
Enter attendance and class data in Jonas and maintain records accurately.Assist with webpage and class schedule updates.Coordinate youth swim lessons with the aquatics representative.Perform member fitness assessments and assist in personal training or class instruction when required.Qualifications
Minimum age 18 with a valid driver's license (for golf cart use).Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical maintenance duties.Prior experience in hospitality, recreation, or facility operations preferred.CPR / AED certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).Professional appearance, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.Employee Benefits
