The Opportunity :

  • CNC Machine Programmer       Reports To : Machining Manager Your Role : As a CNC Machine Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, and evaluating computer programs for a variety of equipment.
  • At PEKO, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills as a CNC Programmer working together with a dynamic manufacturing team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for creating programs to manufacture precision parts based on detailed engineering blueprints.
  • You’ll play a key role in transforming innovative designs into high-quality, manufacturable components.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Decipher programming requirements of complex machine tools to support operations.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to develop CNC programs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure programs meet quality and efficiency standards.
  • Troubleshoot and revise programs as needed to improve performance.
  • Maintain documentation and records of programming activities.( i.e.,Set-Up sheets, Tool lists) Troubleshoot and revise programs to improve quality, reduce cycle times, and optimize machine utilization.
  • Collaborate with all cross functional departments to support production efficiency and continuous improvement, Adhere to all Quality and Safety standards.

    • Required Education / Experience :

  • 2-5 years of CAD / CAM software proficiency.
  • GibbsCAM experience a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications.
  • Knowledge in programming of 3 axes Vertical Mills, 4 th Axis Horizonal Mills, and 5 th Axis Mills a plus Capable of using measuring devices for equipment set-up and product inspection.

    • Physical Demands and Work Environment :

  • Sitting in office for extended periods of time Periodic walking on shop floor Ability to lift 40 pounds Bright, clean and controlled manufacturing environment Work Authorization : US Persons Salary Range : A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $28.00-$35.00 per hour.
