We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dining Room Supervisor to join our team at Heartis Senior Living. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional dining experiences, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing dining room operations, ensuring high standards of service, and leading our staff to deliver memorable experiences for our guests.

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Supervise daily dining room operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service flow.
  • Train, mentor, and lead dining room staff, fostering a positive working environment and encouraging professional growth.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization in the dining area.
  • Greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and maintain an accurate seating chart.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
  • Assist in menu planning and special event preparations, working with management to develop themed events or promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports on dining room performance and staff efficiency for management review.
  • Handle cash and check transactions accurately, ensuring the proper management of tips and gratuities.
  • Qualifications :
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management or related degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food service and beverage operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Skills :
  • Proficient in restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build positive relationships with both staff and guests.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to quality.
