About The Position

The Surgical Tech will join the CVOR team and be responsible for maintaining sterile technique and assisting the surgical team with cardiovascular procedures. This role requires solid knowledge of aseptic techniques, instrumentation, and procedures specific to the cardiovascular operating room.

Job Requirements

Experience :

1+ year of surgical tech experience (CVOR preferred)

Ability to independently scrub basic surgical procedures

Skills :

Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, microbiology, pharmacology, and sterile technique

Familiarity with surgical technology involving robotics, lasers, and computers

Ability to problem-solve and adapt during complex surgical procedures

Education :

Associate’s Degree in Surgical Technology OR

Certificate from an accredited Surgical Technology program

Certifications :

BLS (American Heart Association) – Required
