Oncology Coding Specialist

A company is looking for an Oncology Plastic Surgery Coder.

Key Responsibilities

Select and sequence ICD-10 and / or CPT / HCPCS codes for various patient types

Review facility records to ensure accurate APC assignments and Evaluation and Management codes

Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses, procedures, and discharge dispositions

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

An active AHIMA or AAPC credential is required

Two years of recent and relevant hands-on coding experience

Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding guidelines

Ability to consistently code at a 95% quality threshold

Proficient in MS Office applications
