Gastroenterologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Central NH

A health system is seeking GI locums coverage. The facility is located in central New Hampshire. Starting in October, this hospital-based gastroenterology practice is seeking a board-certified candidate to cover a minimum of two weeks per month until a permanent provider is found. The incoming provider will join a team of four Gastroenterologists, one APRN, two PAs, and two per diem providers. The role includes a mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient / procedural work, with an average of 10 patients seen per day. Clinic hours are typically 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, while endoscopy hours run from 7 : 30 AM to 3 : 30 PM. Patient appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes for follow-ups and 4560 minutes for new patients, depending on the provider type. Call is shared 1 : 4, and while familiarity with EPIC and Provation is preferred, it is not required. A clean background with no malpractice history is required.
