A primary objective of our equipment sourcing team is to develop and execute strategies that align with long range business requirements, immediate and critical focus on capacities and supply chain resilience. This position will influence our internal stakeholders and enterprise engineering partners on requirements, supplier engagement and selection, process improvements, new technologies, etc. In addition, this Sourcing Manager will be critical in the process the ongoing efforts to identify, assess and develop suppliers. With select relationships, there will be focus on ongoing development and improving processes, reduce overall costs, deliver greater value, etc.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Category level expertise with the ability to influence assigned area of focus.
• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to define source strategies which align with long term business objectives.
• Identify, assess and develop new and existing sources to ensure equipment supply base can support the overall needs of the business in alignment with our LRSPs.
• Provide leadership and critical subject matter expertise at the point of supplier engagement and participation in the RFx process, supplier selection, etc.
• Understand new and emerging technologies; working with stakeholders to evaluate where and how Andersen may utilize across the enterprise and sharing industry learnings across the broader engineering team.
• Improve upon the process to onboard new suppliers (e.g., speed, clarity and definition around processes and expectations, etc.).
• Define optimal alignment across strategic sources, training internal teams on processes to engage and enhancing our development processes to better align.
• Remain well-informed of market trends and impacts across categories, taking action to capitalize on select opportunities and mitigate risks to the business.
• Leverage market analysis, analytics, and observation of the supply base to monitor and minimize risks to the organization.
• Partner across sourcing to continue to improve upon processes and tools focused on sourcing best practices.
• Support diverse supplier inclusion through strategic sourcing activities.
• Effectively communicate category results and critical milestones across various levels of the organization.
• Expert in problem solving. Effective in the identification and resolution of issues, concerns, or problems using formal problem-solving techniques.
• Comply with policies and procedures.

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
