Job Title : North Central Heart General Cardiologist

Job Description :

In collaboration with Avera Heart Hospital, North Central Heart Institute seeks a Board Certified / Board Eligible General Cardiologist to join our exceptional team of specialists. Join our team of 26 cardiologists and surgeons in a state-of-the-art environment, providing cutting-edge cardiovascular care to patients across the region. The Cardiologists provide outpatient and inpatient services at North Central Heart Institute, Avera Heart Hospital and Avera McKennan Hospital.

As a vital multidisciplinary team member, you will have access to the latest technology, state-of-the art cath labs, and a robust referral network. Youll also contribute to outreach initiatives to improve access to cardiac care within North Central Heart's footprint.

Responsibilities :

• Perform a full spectrum of general cardiology services, including both outpatient and inpatient services, noninvasive imaging and, if qualified, angiography.
• Provide daily inpatient services at Avera McKennan Hospital on a rotating basis.
• Collaborate with cardiovascular team, including interventional / structural, heart failure, advanced cardiac imaging cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and advanced practice providers.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.
• Support outreach efforts to expand vascular services within the region.
• Contribute to the education and mentoring of medical students, residents, and other clinical staff as applicable.
